This is a book cover design project where I created three different covers for different romance novels.

Challenge

To have a consistent layout while also adding slight variations to fit each book. To have consitent design style for the different visual elements. To visually represent the story. To accommodate an extensive amount of text within the book’s dimensions. To stick to a colour palette with four colours for each cover.

Solution

To visually articulate the narrative’s core themes, I pulled out the key elements of each story. This helped me create the cover illustrations where each element was purposefully selected to evoke curiosity, intrigue, and a desire to read the book. I also employed harmonious combination of colours, typography, and imagery to create a cover that resonates with the story themes as well as the target audience.
